8/12-16/2012, Saturday to Wednesday
We met Rob, Katie, Dylan and Alex (Baltimore kids) at Seagrove Beach. It has been 3 years since they were down for a visit to the beach. We took Hoover grandson, Barrett, with us. We came equipped with bikes for the boys and a scooter for Alex. Since both boys are 7 years old we knew they would have a great time. The kids stayed at Beachside Villas, our favorite spot to stay before we had the RV, while we camped at Grayton Beach State Park. The weather cooperated, no rain, but hot. We stayed on the beach and in the pool as much as possible. Rob's sister and brother-in-law, Gray and David, came over from Mobile for one night. She brought dinner, which consisted of fresh shrimp wrapped in jalapeno peppers, creamed cheese, and bacon. The guys grilled while the girls cooked the sides. It was a great seeing Gray and David. It was sad to leave on Wednesday morning, but we needed to get home to prepare for the next part of our trip, Baltimore to see our newest grandson, Asher. Rob and Katie stayed in the condo until Saturday, then traveled to Mobile to Gray and David's bay house for a couple more days where Gray had planned a big family reunion for them.
